It becomes very difficult to detect spam in these computers. This also reduces the cost of bandwidth of the spammers. The reason being the owners of zombie computers pay the bandwidth costs.

Many organizations use zombie computers to do click fraud. This fraud is done against the websites that offer advertising based on pay per click. Some people also launch money rule and publishing websites through zombie computer. Zombie computers launched a blue frog service in 2006. This service was launched to prevent service attacks.
