The world of science and technology has witnessed tremendous development. Computer is one of the finest inventions of the twentieth century. Computers are of many types and varieties. There is one computer attached to the Internet, called zombie computer. It is sometimes abbreviated as zombie.

If there is some Internet related problem, the zombie computer is used to a much greater extent. In case there is a hacker attack on the Net or a computer virus, a zombie computer is attached. The zombie computer is also attached in case of a Trojan Horse. Zombie computer can also be used as a compromised machine. This compromised machine will work as a botnet. The botnet does malicious tasks under the guidance of the remote control. Sadly, many users do not know that the zombie computer is used in such a way.

The main reason for the illegitimate back use of the zombie computer is that the vector in the computer pretends to be unconscious. This becomes the main cause of the wrong use of the computer. Zombie computers have become the main target in case of email spam. A majority of spam emails, all around the world, are sent through zombie computers. As per the statistics in the year 2005, fifty to eighty percent of worldwide spam emails were sent through zombie computers.

It is well known that spam mails are generally sent through zombie computers. The main reason for this is that these computers act as a safe haven for the spammers. It becomes very difficult to detect spam in these computers. This also reduces the cost of bandwidth of the spammers. The reason being the owners of zombie computers pay the bandwidth costs.

Many organizations use zombie computers to do click fraud. This fraud is done against the websites that offer advertising based on pay per click. Some people also launch money rule and publishing websites through zombie computer. Zombie computers launched a blue frog service in 2006. This service was launched to prevent service attacks.
